The
checked baggage is a baggage you show during check-in. Such baggage is carried in the hold of the aircraft.
Each
airline company has its own rules and limits for checked baggage and
carry-on baggage transportation. You can find this information on your
airline's website.
Usually the carry-on baggage allowance is one
item of 3–15 kg and one item of 20–23 kg item of checked baggage per
passenger. Some airlines (for example, Air Baltic) allow only one item
of carry-on baggage.
Information about checked baggage allowance
for your flight is provided on the page of flight ticket booking. Please
pay attention to this information when you choose a flight or an
airline company.
You are not recommended to include following items in the checked baggage:
- fine or fragile items;
- precious or rare items;
- keys, money and documents;
- gadgets and other digital equipment.
